Low-Temperature Expansion of the Free Energy in ASOS Model
We calculate the low-temperature series of the free energy in absolutevalue solid-on-solid (ASOS) model to order u23 using finite-lattice method. The property of the obtained series and the behavior of their Padé approximants confirms us that the roughening transition in ASOS model is of Kosterlitz-Thouless type.

We use ultrahigh resolution, tunable, vacuum ultraviolet laser-based, angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES), temperature- and field-dependent resistivity, and thermoelectric power (TEP) measurements to study the electronic properties of WTe2, a compound that manifests exceptionally large, temperature-dependent magnetoresistance. The Fermi surface consists of two pairs of electron an...
متن کاملLow temperature Casimir-Lifshitz free energy and entropy: the case of poor conductors
The controversy concerning the temperature correction to the Casimir force has been ongoing for almost a decade with no view to a solution and has recently been extended to include semiconducting materials. We review some theoretical aspects of formal violations of Nernst’s heat theorem in the context of Casimir Lifshitz thermodynamics and the role of the exponent of the leading term of the die...
متن کاملLow Temperature Expansion for the 3-d Ising Model
We compute the weak coupling expansion for the energy of the three dimensional Ising model through 48 excited bonds. We also compute the magnetization through 40 excited bonds. This was achieved via a recursive enumeration of states of fixed energy on a set of finite lattices. We use a linear combination of lattices with a generalization of helical boundary conditions to eliminate finite volume...
متن کاملThe Low-temperature Expansion of 3d Random-cluster Model
We summarize results of [1]. Among other things, they compute the first order expansion to the surface tension for all q−state Potts models at very low temperatures. Using this expansion, they determine the asymptotic shape of the Wulff crystal defined by the surface tension functional determined by an infinite volume Gibbs State at very low temperature. Their results are formulated in terms of...
